New Moon - September 21st

New Moon - September 21st

New moons are a powerful time to set intentions and focus on refinement and initiating new beginnings. The Fall Equinox is Monday, September 22 at 2:19pm ET in the Northern Hemisphere. The sun crosses directly over the equator resulting in equal hours of day and night. This day is a great day to meditate on the Justice Card. Where in your life would you like to bring more balance?

This is also the time of apple magick and the second harvest. When you cut an apple cross-wise, there is a pentagram inside. Plant the seeds of your wildest dreams. Sometimes, I gather with friends to bake an apple pie or make apple cider. One year at Witch Camp, we baked bread to celebrate the harvest. If you don't feel like cooking, simply drink some honey mead and eat some chocolate. Anything to celebrate all for which you are grateful.

Samhain (on October 31) is only six weeks away. This is my favorite time of year. To celebrate the thinning of the veil, Rosemary Beam and I are offering a divination class. Please join us to explore your intuition using rock sing and tarot. Rosemary is a dear friend and teacher. I look forward to sharing her with you.

Your Guides

As you know, I'm a pragmatic witch who guides you to becoming a leader of your own destiny. I've practiced and taught tarot as an intuitive tool for over 30 years. Check out my website or book a session to learn more.

Rosemary Beam is a skilled ceremonialist in profound conversation with the invisible intelligences that guide our lives. Through her own journey of healing and personal development, Rosemary has acquired the equivalent of a modern PhD the Old Way: by apprenticing herself to sacred practices and wisdom traditions throughout the world. An initiate of the lineage of Don Manuel Quispe, revered Altomesayoq of the Q’ero Nation, and his grandson Maestro Luis Quispe ~ Pampamesayoq, and many other Q’ero and Peruvian masters, Rosemary has a deep relationship with the Andes, and Apu Ausangate (holy Mountain Ausangate) is her personal mentor.

Rock Sing is an Indigenous Plains tradition, a way of listening to and learning from the oldest teachers on Earth—the stones. Rocks are the elders of the world, the first beings to hold memory and wisdom.

In this practice, the stones, whether they are simple grandmother and grandfather rocks, or gems and crystals—become guides. Through Rock Sing, we enter into dialogue with the ancient ones, allowing their voices to rise through the stillness. It is a form of divination and deep tracking, akin to the scrying practices found in other traditions: gazing into a reflective obsidian disc, as in Maya and Aztec ceremonies, or into a dish of water, as Nostradamus was said to do.

The gift of Rock Sing lies in its ability to help us step aside from the clutter of our own thoughts. It clears the way for vision and insight, offering clarity for questions both great and small. Whether seeking guidance for life’s turning points or a gentle nudge in daily matters, Rock Sing is a powerful practice to carry in your spiritual toolkit—an ancient conversation with the stones that reminds us we are never without teachers.

Additionally, in honor of the season, I’m offering Saturday sessions in October.
